COLTS AIM FOR FOUR IN A ROW
This week the Western Magpies Colts travel to Labrador in their quest to remain undefeated and on top of the QAFL Colts ladder. Each round poses a great challenge in this competition and facing Labrador on their home deck should be no exception.
With a full squad to choose from this week the Colts will take a very different side down the coast this weekend. The team welcomes back Caleb Franks into the midfield after a really strong Academy series and are really look forward to some of the class and grunt that he provides through the middle. Small forward Lewis Campbell and wing man Tom Cooper both return, and Hanley Milford will play his first game of the season for the Pies.
The young Magpies team should really enjoy the wide open spaces of Cooke-Murphy Oval and have focused on their ball movement and forward entry throughout the week. The team has slowly been developing the ability to maintain their intensity and concentration for longer periods of time during games and are looking forward to a full four effort this weekend after a patchy performance last week against Wilston-Grange..
The game has been re-scheduled for the early 9:30 am timeslot so the Colts players will need to be up and ready to play right from the first bounce in what should be another great match up.
