JB MEDAL UP FOR GRABS IN WHAT PROMISES TO BE A CLOSE FINISH
Centreman Bryce Crossley will be favourite to add a second JB (John Burkitt) Medal to the one he won in 2015. Crossley was again a prolific and consistent ball winner in the centre of the ground and he played in a majority of the reserves matches. Challenges are likely to come from young midfielders in Will Lloyd and Joshua White, both who put in good seasons and will be pushing for senior selection next season. Veteran and captain Gabe McKinnon was also a solid performer at in the spine and a dark horse could be reliable and courageous defender Jamie Page who had his best season to date and was always among the best players in a difficult season for the Reserves.
