ANZAC DAY Commemorations

Players, Members, Parents and Supporters,

In addition to the Seniors game on Saturday, where ANZAC Day will be recognised with a special pre-match ceremony - the club has arranged for players and parents to represent the Sherwood Football Club at two local ANZAC Day Services on Monday April 25.

Everyone is welcome to meet and pay their respects at either of the following:

  • 4:40am - Dawn Service - Clewley St, Corinda (Croll Memorial Precinct) for a 5am march and 5:15am Service at Kokoda Memorial Stone
  • 7:00am - Graceville Service - Appel St (Meet outside Graceville Train Station) for a 7:15am march and 7:30am Service at Graceville War Memorial

Please dress in neat attire - current vintage Sherwood AFC Polo shirts and long black pants where possible.
